EVENT INFO
What is Tomorrowland?
Tomorrowland... Frozen Realm is this years theme and final instalment of the trilogy for the Specsavers Marketing Christmas Party 2025!
It’s a music festival-inspired theme with a winter, Aprés Ski twist - the day and evening will be filled with magical moments, giving you an event to be spoken about till the end of time!
Is there a dress code?
When it comes to the theme, dress however feels right for you. Whether that means dusting off your favourite ski suit, head to toe in sequins, rocking a cozy woolly hat, or keeping it laid-back with casual winter gear. The goal is to let your style shine while having fun with the Frozen Realm vibe. Whether you go all-in on Aprés Ski or simply tip your hat to the theme, we’re here for a good-spirited, unforgettable celebration. Please keep in mind cultural sensitivities so we can ensure a respectful, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for everyone. Check out below for a inspo-board for ideas on what to wear.
Is this event mandatory?
While it's not and there's no pressure to attend, we do encourage you to make every effort to as it's a chance to connect with not just your team but the wider Marketing department. It's also a day where our leadership team give thanks, you can relax and most importantly have fun! We do fully appreciate travelling at this time of year can be tricky as well so if you can't make this event, there is a UK-based event instead, just ask us for more info. If you choose to not attend for whatever reason, you'll be expected to work as normal - please have a chat with your line manager.
when and where?
In Guernsey, we're back at 1857 at Kings again this year. Friday 12th December 2025 - you'll be starting the day in the office from 9am for a wider department session and then getting ready to leave at 11.30am sharp, to arrive at the venue for 11.45am.
Do I need to be in the office on the day?
Yes, everyone including those travelling into Guernsey are expected to be in the office as there'll be a team session first thing. More information to be shared on what this session will be shortly - this is a rare occurrence where we've got everyone together, so we'll be taking full advantage! If you're not attending the main event, you'll be still required to attend in-person or virtualy (unless you're on annual leave etc).
I'm coming from off-island, do I need to arrange my own travel?
Yes, you'll need to arrange your own travel via ClickTravel or the Travel team as you would normally. We urge you to do now rather than later as there'll be a higher than normal number of travellers from other departments as it's Christmas Party day for everyone at La Villiaze! We also suggest you try, if you can, travel in the day/evening before or earlier if you can. Please ensure when booking hotels, you look at St Pierre Park or Premier Inn as 1st choice as these hotels have the Specsavers Corp. Rates.
Transport arrangments
Everyone (apart from those we know don't need a seat) has been allocated a place on a bus! This is transport from the office to the venue - these buses will leave at 11.30am, sharp and there'll be bus monitors to make sure you get onboard! There'll be limited transport from the venue into Town to the Specsavers Afterparty but to get home/ to your hotel, you'll need to arrange that additional transport yourself, we recommend you book a taxi in advance.
Do I need to pay for my meal?
No way! Your food is covered and this includes 5 drink tokens. More on drink tokens by visiting the Food & Drinks page.
Do I need to pre-order food?
This year, we've switched the food offering up slightly and will be a sit-down Christmas lunch. You'll be required to pre-select your choice of food as part of the event registration process including selecting your welcome drink etc. We ask that you you let us know if you have any dietary requirements and/or allergies when registering too so we can make sure everyone is catered for!
Quiet Zones
We'll have our quiet zones back this year - we understand that events can sometimes be a bit overwhelming and sometimes you need a little time to break away. These will be available throughout the day and evening for those who might need a break from the hustle and bustle - Whether you want to be alone, go with a friend or 2, you're welcome to use these spaces for as long as you need. We'll provide some fun little games to keep you occupied and these areas will be clearly marked for you to locate.
What's the line up?
We don't want to give too much away so won't go into detail but we expect guests to arrive no later than 12.15pm, kicking off from there and due to finish around 7pm. There's then the option for you to follow the party into town and head on to Follies for the Afterparty which is where all other department teams are invited to join as a whole to carry on the celebrations. We've got our venue booked until midnight so you're welcome to hang back and enjoy a far more low-key evening if you wish or just head home/back to your hotel to get a good night sleep.
